Panel PC

The Panel-PC 3 is a modular and scalable industrial computer with display front panel. It is designed for installation in enclosure doors. Therefore, all connections are made on the rear side from the bottom.

Thanks to the modular construction of the Panel-PC, its front side can freely be designed, following the customers’ request. At choice are, for example, front panels from stainless steel, powder-coated steel, or aluminum front panels with membrane keyboard and touchpad. Client-specific designs are possible, also for smaller quantities. High-quality TFT displays are installed with sizes from 10.4" to 21.5". The backlight is realized using long-life LED technique. For maritime applications, it can strongly be dimmed.

The Panel-PC S3 is a modular, scalable industrial computer with touch display. Designed for installation in cabinet doors, all its connections are plugged on the back side, upwards, in order to ease their mounting.

The Panel-PC S3 allows to realize a redundant Sercos Master Controller without using specific interface modules or FPGAs. This becomes possible by the combination of two Intel Gigabit Ethernet controllers i210, and the Open Source Project "Sercos SoftMaster". So, you can reach cycle times of 125µs on the bus. Both Sercos interfaces can, at choice, be used as two separate Sercos lines, or as redundant ring structure, for raised availability.

The Panel-PC 2 is a modular and scalable industrial computer with display front panel. It is designed for installation in enclosure doors. Therefore, all connections are made on the rear side from the bottom. Depending on the variant, the system offers a slot for a PCI, or PCI Express expansion card, for a DVD drive, and for a hard drive.

The format of the base board is standardized, so that the Panel-PC can be composed fast and easy, following the customers’ demands. Actually, three processors from the Intel "Atom" family are available: N455 (low Power) with 1.6GHz clock frequency, D425 with 1.8GHz clock frequency and D525 (dual Core) with 1.8GHz clock frequencies. These processors originate from Intels’ Embedded product line, which grants long-term availability of five years, or more.

The ITS-1 is a modular ARM Cortex-A8 industrial computer with touch display. In the open frame version, the ITS-1 can be integrated in a client-specific housing. The version with front panel and housing is foreseen for installation in enclosure doors. In both versions, all connections are made from the rear side from below.

In the open frame version of the ITS-1, display and main board are mounted on a solid plate from stainless steel. The rear side is protected by a cover from stainless steel.

In case of the enclosed version, the front side can be designed as per customers’ demands. At choice are, besides front panels from stainless steel or powder coated steel, also aluminum front panels with membrane keyboard and touch pad. Client-specific designs are possible, even for small quantities.
